The specter of being an obese is widespread in the developed countries, especially in the United States of America. A study is revealed that since 1980, the American populations are mostly grown overweight. The reason is their sedentary lifestyle. No care for proper diet, lack of physical exercise and no manual labor are the causes of the Americans becoming fat.
An obese is always held as a social and cultural outcast. The common crude treatment to an obese is noticed in the past as well as in the present. An obese is held as somebody with unnatural traits. He or she is often called names and all including the obese make fun of his or her super weight.
Obesity raises cholesterol and triglycide levels and lowers HDL good cholesterol leading to stroke. It also raises the levels of blood pressure and blood sugar. This combination increases the risk of heart attack.
Obesity also causes osteoartheritis in hand, hip, back and knee. Overweight has high chance of affecting post-menopausal women with breast cancer. Fat Men may also suffer from breast cancer. Increased BMI may cause cancer of the esophagus. Women with super weight may have Endometrial and renal cell cancer particularly for women.
Obesity increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases, carpal tunnel syndrome, chronic venous insufficiency, gallbladder problems, daytime sleeping, fatigue, gout., hypertension., pancreatic problems, infertility and low back pain. Obstetric and gynecological complications in women are also reported.
Overeating is the singular reason for obesity.When the enrgy gained by by eating does not match with the energy expenditure on a single day, obesity starts. The extra fat gained by the subtraction of the above mentioned two allowes spces to obesity to set in in human body. A man or a woan of such nature falls prey to extra fat giving a go-by to the normal metabolic conditions of a human being.
The best therapy to cure obesity is to lower food intake, taking low calorie food, regular physical work and exercise and brisk walking for quite a distance a day round the year.
Intake of less quantity and low calorie food will automatically generate small energy and less fat. Care should be taken that the diet is not made less than adequate. No therapy is advised for making people sick. A balance must be struck between adequate food and luxury dishes. Along with proper diet, physical exercises should be done regularly to keep the weight in check. Some manual labor like gardening, dusting the furniture and carpet on a regular basis would contain the fat and reduce the extra calorie.
The Body Mass Index can measure obesity. A person with heavy BMI should immediacy take medical care for to keep himself healthy and beautiful. An early treatment has chance to contain the trend to become overweight.
Remember the first and foremost purpose of beauty care is to keep fit.
