Care for Height
A tall figure commands respect. All beautiful men and women are tall in human history. A tall person has access not only to show business but he or she is always seen successful in other spheres of human activities. A short person is usually held as handicapped with no good for many jobs in the society. The people thus always crave for being tall.
Although your family height does act in being you tall, medium or short, but there are good many scopes to overcome short figures. Diet plays an important role in hormonal functions, which in their turn make a body tall or short. If gene is on your side, a well balanced diet can make you a tall person
It is studied that children grow two inches annually till their adolescence. During adolescence, sex hormones become active and the growth rate turns faster. There are some external factors, which are responsible to stunted growth. It may come in the form of accidents or some diseases. Since such occurrences are not avoidable, care should be taken that physical exercises are done since childhood.
Physical exercise has an important role in shaping your height. Daily physical exercises since childhood surely make one tall. To add to this, regular cycling helps to raise your height. Cycling has great impact on legs, thighs and hip and knee joints. Cycling is a vigorous physical exercise not only for the lower part of the body, but it acts a good deal on shoulders. It softens the joints and raises the height considerably as it works on body joints.
Swimming is another physical exercise good for becoming tall. It is said swimming is a whole body exercise. Besides, its other good effects on the general health of the body, swimming has immense role in making one tall. We have never seen a short figured swimmer.
Yoga may also raises height. Since Yoga is closely asociated with deep breathing, the chest and abdomen enlarge with every breath. Legs and hands grow in accordance with the enlargement of the chest and heart. Yoga is such a potential healthy exercise that it never make a person a monster in size. One would get a height in consonance with the size of his hear and brain and other body organs. If a person's body length is short and not in accordance with the possible enlargement of his or her body organs, Yoga would fill the gap.
Such free hand exercises and adequate diet could easily make a person tall enough to reckon with. But we should not forget, if the family tradition or genes are on the wrong side, it is difficult to become taller than the average family height for both the sexes. We may in such cases take the help of genetic engineering, which, however, is still in its nascant stage.
